Gucci’s horsebit loafer has been intrinsic to the brand since the 1950s and went on to become a fashion staple when it was added to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection in 1985. The 1953 Horsebit loafer collection marks 60 years since the Italian house added the hardware to classic loafers.
The shoe boasts a tubular construction that does away with the insole, making it light, pliable and very comfortable. It features periwinkle blue patent leather with tonal top stitching, gold-tone horse bit emblems at vamps and stacked heels.
