Chanel has yet again created something that has never been done in eye-wear before! . Chanel’s most exclusive eye-wear collection, the Prestige Collection from Autumn-Winter 2013, presents luxury in its purest form: The Chanel 5272-Q, featuring hand-inserted soft stingray leather.

The galuchat leather is the skin of stingray, traditionally used on the handle of swords, book-binding and on trunks and cases because of its high durability and resistance to heat and water. This material has also been used on the classic CHANEL flap bags and purses. The stingray leather looks like a mosaic of shiny black gems, is soft to touch, and has been combined with nylon fiber to ensure greater precision in design as well as durability. The metal striping on the temples of this model with the understated enamel CC signature ensures the minimalist luxury design of this Chanel model.

The lenses and frames are clean, with minor hairline scratches. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
